About Us

Concussion care at your fingertips

Concussion Triage is a mobile health evaluation platform for concussion and mild traumatic brain injury. Designed by physicians with expertise in brain trauma, Concussion Triage provides baseline cognitive screening for athletes, and students, as well as telemedicine-enabled acute assessment of head injury.

Concussion Triage is a graduate of Xcelerate Health, a Louisville, Kentucky-based healthcare startup incubator.

Our goal is to support millions of youth athletes, students and parents on all forms of mobile health devices including smartphones, tablets and computers.

What is baseline testing?

Baseline testing is a pre-injury examination designed to assess an individual’s brain function – including memory, ability to concentrate, speed of problem solving, and the presence of concussion symptoms.

Why is baseline testing important?

Results from a baseline test can be used later if an athlete or student has a suspected concussion. By comparing baseline results to post-injury results of the same test, clinicians can assess the severity of the concussion and make informed decisions regarding when an athlete should return to play.
